LOSSLESS SCALING IS A CHEAT CODE

i love using lossless scaling (on steam for $6) for mostly any unstable fps game i own, but THIS TAKES THE CAKE.
using certain settings on LS, i can straight TRIPLE my framerate, with 0 downsides, literally. no input delay, no artifacts, no weird smears or blurriness, just arma reforger with 3x the fps, no gimmicks.
of course you have to fine tune the settings on LS for it to have the least input delay etc, but once you get them down like i did, just save the config and bam, free frames. im dead serious. get on this now

It’s artificial but if it improves your experience, you do you. But I am incredibly fortunate to have a good rig and a good pipe and enjoy 120+ fps.

I tried lossless scaling on beta mode on arma reforger but the input lag was too severe, would you mind posting your settings?

IT'S WAY BETTER NOW. USED TO BE PRETTY ♥♥♥♥♥, I STOPPED USING IT FOR LIKE 6 MONTHS EASILY (sorry for caps)
now its way better. for reforger, my settings are:
FSR 0 sharpness and dont check optimized
LSFG 3, 2X-3X either works, test 3x to see if it has bad input lag, if not stick w it
vsync off on LS but on in-game
dxgi api, tweak other settings as needed

its honestly amazing, if you have a solid rig (i have a 4070 and i7 11700k so not bad at all), and can make sure your game stays at minimum 60fps stable, you can easily triple the fps with like a .2ms delay max, some games i get 0 (squad felt great) and arma 3 it even works on ime.
its a 10/10 software that keeps getting better with updates

i even use it on arma 3 to get 60-80 fps in KOTH and Invade & Annex

I've been using this for a while now. I only play on PVE servers so the input lag isn't much of an issue.

I wasn't able to get it to work + it prevented Steam from recording clips. I play at 4k on low settings to get 80-120 fps. No fps change when enabled.

I am using loseless scailing FSR instrad of built in one. Its way better. Though I dont use frame generation because of th input lag.

No input delay? Idk if you are less sensitive to it, but its there still no matter how you got the settings. But it is much smoother.

lossless scaling does NOT have zero input delay, smeariness or artifacts. what are you smoking? I use lossless scaling a lot but this is just straight up wrong information.
