Server Que is garbage

This que going up to 50+ is the biggest flop in the most recent update. Your unstable game "Crashes" or "Fail to connect" after people have been waiting for too long. GET RID OF THE STUPID SERVER QUE. If you're gonna comment join a server that has no wait, that is not the point of this post, even then LOOK AT THE SERVER LIST, well over 50% of the servers are full.

i agree
I like the idea of a queue system, because i absolutely hated having to spam the "join server" button when the Vietnam servers i play on are full.
but now theres usually a 40+ queue to get on it. and thats okay, i can be patient

i just do not like how i cant do ANYTHING when im waiting for the queue to pop. i can't go into singleplayer, i cant browse any mods, i usually just alt tab and watch a youtube video while i wait.

thats my recommendation: let me pop into singleplayer so i can fly around in a chopper ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up AI while i wait, that would let me actually play the game i want to play while i wait.

You can’t do anything? Like you said, you can watch a YouTube video. Or how about getting into the queue 30 minutes before you want to play? Go eat a meal, touch grass, work out, yell ‘Mom, meatloaf, now!’

I don’t think he does have a point. They have created a demand that exceeds the supply. It’s basic economics. With a queue you can plan on getting into a server bc it’s roughly 40 seconds per slot. So plan a bit ahead and get into the queue and go do something productive. Instead of wasting your time on a click fest trying to get in.

Im gonna stop what im doing to come to my computer to "PLAN" ahead for joining a server. Then when I finally am about to join the server, the game freaks out and "Fail to connect" or even crashes.

Play literally anywhere else, you complain about empty servers, well if you and every other player sitting in a 50 player queue went and got the ball rolling and kick started those servers, guess what, they'd cease to be empty any more wouldn't they.

I learned that 25 years ago in Battlefield for ♥♥♥♥ sake.

Basic economics. The demand for whichever servers you are playing is high, they need to increase the supply of their servers to meet the demand. I'm assuming it's a popular modded server you want to play on. It's that outfit hosting the server's responsibility to make sure there's enough room for everyone, not the developer's. The only thing BI needs to fix is the game crashing while in queue like you mentioned. The large queue is not the fault or is fixable by BI.

I mean, Squad's queue is limited to like 20 or so, or at least communities generally limit it to that I don't remember which.

He might be being a troll but genuinely like, it's stupid to have the max it can be, be 50, regardless of OP's shenanigans or otherwise it is just flat out dumb to have a max queue of 50.

It is their fault, 'cause they put the max cap to 50 as a default when something more like 20 would be more sensible. :X
