It’s basically another mixer with (depending on which version you get) some extra nifty features like noise gate, compression, EQ etc.
Once I got this set up, people in-game were suddenly able to hear me. I really have no clue why this works since my mic is analog and going into an audio interface that connects to PC via USB. So my computer is clearly getting the mic signal, except Reforger would recognize it for a few secs then stop recognizing it. (You can check this under your system settings - microphone, somewhere in there.
