You do, in the game you're currently in, which is the only accomplishments that matter to the game you're currently in. Nobody gives a crap about you. You're a cog in a machine. There's no war heroes here. You are not the main character and neither is anybody else. The thing that shows for your skill level is how valuable you end up being on the battlefield, and that's it. Because that's literally the only thing about you that matters to anyone else in this game at any point in time.
