To those saying why not use Unreal 5... well about that.
Hello developer here to let you know that Unreal engine 5 is not up to the task of a physics based military sim at this time and wont be ready for that anytime soon.

Let me educate you all unreal Engine 5 has a new physics system Chaos and its broken has been broken since its introduction back in unreal engine 4.

And now its the only option to use Unreal 5, for this game to use Unreal 5 would break all physics interactions tanks falling through static meshes or terrain, and bullet physics would be broken.

Any thing using physics is broken in unreal engine 5 right now and wont be fixed any time soon.

Unreal engine 4 has physx stable and Unreal 5 has chaos broken. I doubt Bohemia wants to wait to make this game until Epic fixes Chaos physics some time in the future.

How about they simply never look at Unreal in the first place, Its such a ♥♥♥♥ game engine. Everything on it runs like complete horse sh_it. Never played a Unreal game that isn't struggling with something be it FPS & fkn screen tearing out of the wazoo

Who asked to use Unreal 5 on Arma series...? I think the complains are mostly not about the engine.

Not to mention the marketing and platform implications... do people seriously want their game to risk being an exclusive on a platform that has bugger all mod support and community/social support?
