The project lead of reforger said that xbox cannot get 60 fps on high settings.

I have no idea how consoles are ever going to be able to handle a full scale Arma game, if they can't handle this small scale one.

I have a very sneaking suspension that Arma 4 will be released for next gen consoles, and a very limited version will be released for current gen.
Similar to what GTA 5 did.

i already have, other people say its terrible as well, i seriously don't understand people these days saying "gtx is bad!!1!" when its more than enough for modern gaming, for example i run helldivers 2 at absolute max graphics at 60 fps with zero spikes

Bottom line, PC gaming is never about building a rig to last 10 years of gaming. Period.
PC gaming has always been about chasing the newest games and hardware.
If you get 5 years from a rig, then you are ahead of the curve.

When you notice you start having issues, you upgrade. That is the way it has always been.
Been building gaming PC's since the 90's. The only thing that has changed, is modern low end rigs can actually run most games.
So you no longer have to build a mid range or better to play the newest games, you can do "budget builds"( that end up costing you more in the long run ), and get away with that.

If your mentality is that the 8 year old card you have should still run the most modern games in there fullest, then you have the wrong mindset of PC gaming.
That is console gaming. Run any game for 7 years or so till the new gen comes out, then upgrade consoles.

the issue that i'm experiencing is the game outright crashing (which in my defense i didn't know my hard drive was dying because spcc is a terrible brand) not fps issues, i've said numerous times that im getting 60+ fps with the issues being the multiplayer servers completely not even connecting despite having a perfectly good internet connection that works on every other game

Did you check the logfiles? You can open them with notepad. Maybe it outputs some errors during connection attempts.

Sorry, I should have quoted the sender I was replying to.
This was directed at a conversation in this thread about a 1080GTX should be good enough to run this game maxed out.

I take it you solved the issue with replacing the drive, or moving the game to another drive?

I own a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ 1060 and planning to upgrade to 4060, I will able to enjoy all my games that I am playing including Arma 3 but for what I have seen, Reforger needs work on the optimization part, not all of us can afford video cards for example like 4080, grow up.

lmao... " saw a video with this game paired with 4060/1080p and the results were ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥"

" I own a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ 1060 and planning to upgrade to 4060"

first of all. just because its a 4060 doesent mean he got high frames.
u know that the 1060, 2060 , 3060 , 4060 are the low tier gpus right?
This, plus if you don't want to buy a newish video card, don't expect to run new games on high/ultra settings. I have a 1080ti and it handles the game just fine. And these cards are cheap af now on ebay.

Does it work in single player? Or in Scenario's?

What does the ping look like to other servers?
