Did the rendering distance change?
Noticed some vehicles tend to pop out of existence after like 800m.

Server owners can set the Network view distance which determines how far out vehicles, players etc. are rendered and simulated, so it was probably just set quite low.

As AkiKay said it's a server-side option. There is maximum view distance and simulation distance or whatever it is called. If you open your own server you can see it.
And yes. It's perfectly possible, that after 800m vehicles and AI despawn if nobody (so also no other player) is near them. It's to save resources. If you come closer again they should reappear.

There have been several downgrades since version 1.0 as they can't solve any core issues with the engine.

So... the engine upgrade was redundant then? Improving the engine was the whole point of updating it in the first place.

Well.. this week has been a disaster. Since the big update ive not seen 1 server that runs smooth. Many run sort of good-ish to entertain me in the meantime. But with connection drops, limited assets, no nightview etcetera. Also FPS quite a bit lower than usual. However i just assume it will get fixed as any other bump in the road before.
