How to move the mods arma reforger to an external drive ?

I try to move the mods workshop arma reforger from their default location (C:\Users\Documents\My Games\ArmaReforger) https://www.easeus.com/images/en/screenshot/partition-manager/what-is-c-drive.png

to an external drive I tried to create a symbolic link, but it didn't work.

Can anyone tell me the correct procedure to accomplish this or give me advice on how to deal with mods on an external drive?

RMB on the game, and pick "properties".

In the "General" section, there are "LAUNCH OPTIONS".

Copy paste this into the box : ArmaReforgerSteam.exe -addonDownloadDir X:\ARMAMODS

NOTE : Make sure to change the "X" to the drive you want to download the mod in. And don't forget to CREATE a file in the drive with the name ARMAMODS.

I'm installation arma reforger about hard drive , the game works on an external hard drive, but not on the addons ?

Game Location :

E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma Reforger

Addons Location :
ARMAMODS

but the addons load about C: PC ?

read the post above.
make sure u create afolder for mods and run the game with -addonDownloadDir "E:\Arma Addons" in steam game settings.

dont copy past, change it to you driveletter en mapname

Thank you for your service to the ARMA community, I had the same issue because it was taking up space on my OS drive rather than my game drive.
