how to add mod weapons to missions?
i see alot of servers running all these modded weapons in the arsenal but when i try to do it on my end the weapons don't show up. how are they getting them to pop up?

Some mods and maps can only be loaded up in the Arma Tools app, added into the map/mission you create there and then that has to be saved as mission file to be seen in Reforger.
I'm also trying to find the answer to this question. Ive searched on BI forums, Discord, Wiki, everywhere else i can think of and haven't found a straight answer for this specific question. I've been looking at other scenarios and mods trying to reverse engineer how it works. From what I've gathered, it has something to do with the files
Configs\EntityCatalogs\US\US_InventoryItems.conf
and theres similar files for each faction. I see entries in here for certain guns, like the RHS: Status Quo modded guns, and you can Enable/Disable the existing entries. I'm just not sure how to go about adding new mod items to those files, and if that's even the way to do it or I'm completely wrong here... wish there was more docs on this stuff.

I've never done this myself, but I enjoy necroposting in topics that have been dead for two years, so here we go...


Adding items to faction crates is covered under the `Crate Filling` heading of the prefab configuration page of their modding guide: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_Reforger:Weapon_Creation/Prefab_Configuration#Crate_Filling

You create your own mod that overrides the faction crate with a copy that includes the desired new weapons.

You can add other mods as dependencies of your mod (and access their items for inclusion in the crate) by importing them into your mod as a dependency: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_Reforger:Mod_Project_Setup#Adding_Other_Existing_Projects
