For Anyone looking for a good Single Player Alternative

This is not a shill, but an honest discovery that happened while depressed with this current state of Arma Reforger.

So, to start I tried playing Tarkov around Fall/Winter Last Year. I really liked the concept of it, and was really impressed with what a dev group was able to do with unity, which felt very much like they were able to turn it into a better version of the Real Virtuality engine. Despite some very serious shortcomings (like max player count), the overall "feel" to me was a better iteration of most realistic milsim games............. That is...except the player-base. I'm not here to make a judgment about the main Tarkov player-base, but I'll just say it wasn't for me.

I stopped playing Tarkov for awhile because of this, until Arma forager came out. It made me remember "Man, I loved Tarkov, except for the other players, It would be great without them". Randomly doing a google search, I stumbled upon "Single Player Tarkov".

For anyone like me who likes "Focused", "Semi-Hardcore", Milsims, this REALLY scratches the itch.

I am still hoping that Arma Reforger can turn around, and Arma 4 can scratch this itch (with either Vanilla or modded modes, especially with multiplayer. But, I'm sure a lot of ARMA players have probally purchased Tarkov already (you need to own it to use it), but I highly recommend you go look into Single Player Tarkov. I think BSG can learn a lot from Tarkov and should use some of its high points as inspiration for ARMA 4.

Keep in mind, Tarkov was made in UNITY....that is an impressive feat on it's own when you consider the problems with the state of release of this game.

oh, I know what Tarkov is, rather I was wondering if this SP mod bought more to the mix.

I play "Enlisted" for all my combined arms mp, BF style fun and although MP can be played in a very SP way.

it's no Arma or Reforger (hopfully) replacement but when i want a satisfying blast with a touch of realism (compared to most games in the genre) even if MP players are often toxic, it's my goto as I don't have to directly engage with other players which suits me just fine

Why Nikita is so adamantly against implementing a separate SP client for Tarkov will be forever be a mystery to me considering how popular the mod is. However, I did hear rumors that BSG either hired or consulting with the/one of the creators of the mod.

I think they want to make separate single player game in the Russia 2028 universe after EFT is finished

maybe think before responding or do some of your own due diligence, your asking, "combined arms?" made me to believe you never heard of the game before otherwise you would have known how dumb of a question that was... go back to enlisted so you can stop wasting peoples time
