you cant modify the original file, first you need to create a "copy".
afaik, it was like this since the beginning.
i thought it was going to affect my game scenario but it didnt...just a pain in the neck really...i had whole areas of the eden world deleted and stuff...but now people are telling me that was never possible? idk...maybe ive been mandella'd
However you can place new entities there, for that you need to create a sub-world of that world.
I accidentally set the locked world as active and had this problem.
I have another layer with my cameramanager, terrain, world light entity etc etc and I just simply right clicked that layer and "set as active" and now I can unlock the "default" layer with "world" again and place objects.
