Remove gun safety auto on

This has to be one of the dumbest features I have seen in a game where in the middle of combat the safety goes on......... Who's the genius behind that?

For me by default the safety goes on when I double tap CTRL and lowers the weapon and as soon as i bring the weapon up, the safety auto goes off. If I press delete, it stays on until I hit delete again.

Sounds like user error not game error.

Yeah...this sounds pretty easy to diagnose

Check your keybinds and change your safety keybind.

If it still happens, then it's a software issue

If it stops and you're 110% sure you're not double clicking CTRL, then it's a problem with your keyboard

If it stops but then returns when you put default controls on...it's more than likely user error

It is the binds so there is a bug that if you change a key bind that is used for something else there is no prompt or warning so the bind is shared to more than one function...
It's a bug.

I have no idea what counter strike is. I have only played ARMA2 OA since 2012 etc.

There are two gun rests.
The fully down rest, the middle rest and then their is the ready to fire stance. Both rests won't let me fire the weapon.

If I sprint, my character automatically stops in the middle rest. I have to left mouse click once to get it to go into ready to fire stance.

The 2x L Ctrl key lowers rifle to the lower resting position. Left click OR 2x L Ctrl raises again to go to ready to fire stance, bypassing the middle stance.

Why was my character going to the middle rest every 8 seconds ?? it was bugged. Why ? No idea but probably because I had never used the left Ctrl key ever. ( ask a programmer...)

Now that I have used the L Ctrl a few times the auto lower has stopped. But it was doing it less than ten minutes ago. Go figure. Just because something does not happen to you does not mean the person it happens to stupid, inferior, mentally challenged and noob. Software is a weird other worldly place and you are being a mean as d ork.

So now that the automatic 8 sec middle rest seems to have stopped. The next issue is the auto middle rest after sprinting. That sucks.

FYI.
I changed FWD to S and BACK to W. I have done this for ever. FWD = W sucks balls. And I hold the CAPS LOCK + S to sprint.

I was told that steam is a toxic place... I have tried to ignore that observation, but it really is like they say, toxic.

What I should of done is start a youtube channel and recorded the problem to prove it really was a thing. No pics, never happened. Or in toxic steam: noob user error....

Been playing the series since Flashpoint way back when.
In this case if the game is supposed to be similar to Arma 3 with custom assignments then when I assigned del key for lean left I did not get any warning there was a key conflict which causes the safety to go on.
Like I said it's probably just a bug.
