Is the rank always reset after the game ends?

Yes, you maintain your rank only till the end of the session.

If that wasn't the case and you maintained your rank after the session ended it would be impossible to play since soviets would be able to spawn 69 BTRs at the start of each game and steam roll every next session they play xD
