Look for landmarks and streetsigns to orient yourself
The coordinates for the map quadrants are used the same way like if you had a gps device in game.
6 Digit coordinates
First top digits - second the side. (which is currently wrong in the field manual afaik)
its quite fun to navigate yourself when using compass and map.
It might help you one day in your life to know that.
