Mouse Smoothing
There seems to be smoothing and I don't see an option for turning it off anywhere.

Fixed - Put my sensitivity pretty high then set my mouse DPI very low

In windows you can disable enhanced precision in mouse option, that should generally be off. I don't feel smoothing in the game at all. Probably due to that!

Nah, one of the things I looked at first

Weird, do you have V-Sync on? This causes smoothing as well.

I don't know about mouse smoothing, but there is negative acceleration, which sucks. It was present in Operation Flashpoint, ArmA 1, ArmA 2, and then removed for ArmA 3 thank God (although it was still present when using turrets). It seems it made its way back in with reforger. I have no idea why anyone would want to use negative acceleration on any shooter.

This 100%, the negative acceleration has to go. Turrets are unusable. It's a bug literally decades old.

mouse smoothing is horrible, and the sensitivity it's caped like a joystick...
it's like the option "use software cursor", if you set it at yes, cursor become suddenly drunk.

The only issue i really have is that when i ads on the 50 cal attached to a vehicle, i move my mouse a hair and its pretty much impossible to aim. It just moves all over like my sensitivity is maxed or something.

That's probably the problem I'm having, trying to turn at any type of decent speed seems to put my camera on a rail and slows down to a stop, instead of just stopping right when i stop moving my mouse

I thought it was my PC acting up, but it's good to know others also have this issue.
I'm surprised that such an issue is present in this game in 2022, but Bohemia is making. Of course it's gonna be in the game.

Literally refunded the game because of it. It's ridiculous to need to completely swap your DPI and sensitivity setting as a "workaround" to that stupid negative mouse accel.

I get that they might want to cap max turn speed so you rotate at a "normal" speed realistically but there are far better implementation than this absolute clunky garbage.

Is this fixed yet? I refunded Arma Reforger because of this problem, but I would like to buy again if it's fixed..

Haven't played in a while, although doubt it due to it being compatible with controllers. There's probably a mod fixing it now though.

I was able to remedy the negative mouse acceleration by lowering my DPI and raising the ingame sensitivity. I found the solution here: https://feedback.bistudio.com/T167129

Before I getting bad negative mouse acceleration at 1600 DPI, 20% sensitivity. Lowering DPI to about 700 and raising sensitivity to about 50% seems to have negligible negative mouse acceleration.

It's fixed now
You should never have to do a work around. I won't play the game because of this, it is a problem on there end it's a shame I really like the game.
