Not that i think it should be a turn off, but a lot of the relationships are LGBT. I don't think it should turn off anyone or disallow any child from playing the game, but i feel it makes more sense to be up front about it than to try and hide it.
Everytime you deepen your relationship with a character (which, most of the time, is done in a very friendly and respectful way), you get a card for the haggling part of the game. I'd say it's quite important, since you'll really struggle if you only use the base cards you're given.
If you do max out a relationship (rank 10) with someone you're not in a relationship with, the characters share a warm hug.
I don't think it's possible to turn it off, though. But it's still a really safe game.
There are some flirty dialogues, a kissing scene and everyone keeps his/her clothes on.
It ain't that kinda game. This one is absolutely family friendly.
