This game definitely needs difficulty selector
Dont get me wrong, the game is amazing, and I will surely leave positive review... but the game was just sooo damn easy.

There are some ideas what the harder difficulty could made different over the normal difficulty.
-When haggling (in shop and in competitions) you get -5% mark down + another -5% for every competition completed
-Sleep removes half the stress it used to
-The adventures are bit harder
-Ironman (but I understand that I can manage it on my own)

+ something that should have been in the normal difficulty... let the competitors haggle their potions as well. The competitions should be something that should be challenging like a boss of this game type. But if every competiton you just present your potion and win or enter haggle section, play one card and win, then the trill of competition is nowhere. Soo either make them haggle their potion, just show how they play few of their custom cards in one round of haggling to raise the price (it can be the same cards every time) or just set the price higher than the value of the potion when they present it, otherwise its just too easy to win.

Also maybe nerf some cards to not allow unlimited cycling... it makes the other cards way weaker than they should be.

What do you think? Do you have any other ideas that would make the game harder but still fair?

I dont feel like its easy at all. I've been having to min max a lot and think constantly about what I'm doing. I have some time but am constantly running out of money with so many options and stuff. For this type of game its a bit much already and would actually like it to have options for 20-30 day cycles for extremely relaxed playthroughs.

After I beat it which I think will be pretty soon here I'm not going to wanna go back because its such a chore sometimes lol

I agree that the game is too easy, but paradoxically I think it could really use a chill mode with no time limits where you can just trigger the competition at your leisure. This would allow players who are struggling to get on their feet and match the leveling curve while also giving players like me who got the competition potions day 2 to progress the story and unlock new features without having to wait so damn long.

It would also allow for those who want to increase the difficulty to do it organically through self-imposed challenge. e.g "beat the final competition in 25 days"

I've assumed the opponents price includes the markup after they present the potion and say their marketing line
