Gardening is so OP, it makes other mechanics obsolete
My slimes pump out like 40+ top quality and free ingredients per day, enough to keep all my Cauldrons continuously producing Masterwork potions. At this point I just produce a single type of top tier potion and put it into the vending machine.

The reason of this is how slime feeding works - the amount of points to produce additional item doesn't depend on item total points, but rather on item quality (I think). Also slimes eat all magimins contained in an item, and if item contains a magimin of slime color, the entire score is doubled (for all magimins). For example a Funeral Pyre Enoki would add +448 points, Mana Vortex will add +420 points. So let's look at Enoki example:

- add a Enoki and the slime will output 2
- feed 1 more and the slime will output 5
- feed 1 more and the slime will output 7
- after that diminishing returns kick in

So 1 slime can produce enough shrooms with high points to feed all others. For almost any ingredient feeding 1 shroom will yield x5 output. Slimes usually take 2-3 ticks to produce an item.

I also believe it is only doubled if the item you are trying to duplicate contains that color as well. If you try to dupe a solo green item to the red slime then I don’t think you can get double xp even with red items. I could be wrong though.

But I agree, the slimes are very OP when used correctly and you find the right easy combo potions.

but it's intend to use like that, increase numbers of your rare ingredients. unlike Quinn's shop and adventure, even guild invest, treasure boxes. Quinn's shop requires gold to buy, others are very RNG.
in case, what user can for that? Only gardening dose.

if ingredients that have multiple colors, they both gives double xp. ex) red+green ingredient gives double xp to red and green silme both.

It's even worse than you know.

1 - Pick a super high megamin ingredient, you'll either need 2 of them just 1 and wait until it multiplies

2 - Depending on the ingredient type, there will be different slimes that can duplicate it in 2 turns. There are ALWAYS at least two slimes that will duplicate any ingredient type in 2 turns. You just need to use the right one on the right slime.

3 - 2 ingredients, 1 fed to each slime, will need 2-3~ fuel to reach either the 6 or preferably 7 multiplier. You will be feeding them with the same ingredient you are duplicating once you have enough to do that.

4 - So now your two slime bros will be profiting either 6 or normally 8 super high megamin ingredients every 2 turns.

5 - You now can fuel the other 3 slimes with 2-3 free ingredients each, letting you get them up to 6 or 7 too. And if you matched those slimes correctly you will get them every 2 times

6 - You will now get a selection of 18 - 21 free ingredient of your choice every 2 turns (roughly).


Sooooooo that means in a day you can get yourself 4 time 20~ ingredients you want. 80 ingredients for free EVERY DAY.

Even though gardening is OP by the time you get gardening you get so rich that normally ingredients are a non issue. Quinn's stock seems to be more of an obstacle than the gold itself. Completely ignored almost all game mechanics and I had no issues.

I think the way it’s intended to work is it will double any ingredient 1 per slime with matching colour over 2-3 turns, for free. It can go faster but requires you to feed magic points, which for most ingredients, is inefficient. So the expectation is you can generate maximum 5 ingredients per 2 turns, for free.

However for the stronger mana balls and especially that mushroom with 339 points, you are able to put in 3 per slime without losing efficiency, and since the mushroom has 4 colours you can put in 8 and get 20, or 12 and get 28, for 16 ingredients generated over 3 turns, with just 4 of the 5 slimes.
