Enchanting takes effect immediately, and only for that day.
This means that if you get it at the last tick of the day, it's gone the next morning, correct? That seems to be what happened to me.
It overrides bad traits with good ones so it’s double good to enchant a trait that is currently negative in your potions.
It also works for custom orders so keep that in mind (it didn’t Originally but they patched that in).
It does mess up the ingredient UI since every ingredient is tagged as having the enchanted traits, but you can still filter stuff by selecting only good traits or no bad ones etc. essentially the filters still work as normal, but it is a pita to have to sort it this way.
They last till the end of the day and don’t effect prices for stuff in the vending machine.
