Cauldron Upgrades Question (minor spoilers
So starting on Day 11, you are able to buy three new cauldrons and same on Day 21.
My question is two cauldrons have the same max ingredients but slightly different max magimins.

What is the benefit of buying the lesser one (T3 Cyrstal for example) since all cauldrons are the same price? Is it better when fully upgraded? Since I can buy the same cauldron multiple times it's not like I'm forced to buy it or anything.

I feel like I'm missing something on this.

Every week, you can buy a few new cauldrons (If I'm not mistaken, day 11 gives you 3 new ones, when you had 2 new ones unlock before then), one usually is very basic, with X ingredients and Y magimins, you have one that has more ingredients (usually X+1) but still the same amount of magimins. And the last one of course has X ingredients, but more magimins.
Upgrading them is a worthwhile endeavor: The Mudpack Cauldron (6 ingredients, 160 Magimins) becomes 6/180 with one upgrade, and 7/225 with a second one. Upgrading once brings minimal bonuses, but the second upgrade is really worth the price.

I'd advise anyone to get one of each new cauldron at the beginning of each week, they should be better than fully upgraded ones from the previous tier (Case in point, 7/225 Mudpack when the base Storm from week 2 is a 7/240).

Hope that helped!

Like I get that but on Day 11 you can buy the Storm, Ocean and Shadow Cauldrons.
Storm Cauldron: 7 Ingredients - 240 Magimins
Ocean Cauldron: 8 Ingredients - 240 Magimins
Shadow Cauldron: 7 Ingredients - 255 Magimins

I understand the difference between Ocean and Shadow ones - clear trade off between max ingredients and max magimins - but what benefit is there to ever buying a storm cauldron? Is it better at max upgrades than Shadow?

Max Ocean gives 8/320
Max Shadow gives 7/345
I did not get the material to upgrade the Storm for the first time, but Storm+ gives 8/295, so I assume maxed out it gives something like 8/345?

They are all kiiiind of equivalent, I think the point is that you'll need a lot of one material if you want to only buy Shadow Cauldrons, so mixing them up is a good thing?
There's no benefit per se to buy every cauldron, but it might be easier on you to get one of each and being able to max them all out, instead of only being able to max out one of them, maybe two.

Ok. That makes sense if I am understanding it. It starts off the worst, but ends up the best after upgrades.

Problem is you get 1 potion per 2 ingredients and idk if shadow is enough to go beyond grand if not you are basically making 1 less potion per brew.

Storm Cauldron++ actually goes all the way up to 9/375. The cauldrons that start out the weakest are way stronger once fully upgraded.
