While both weapons would be fitting, because muscles just make any sort of melee combat inherently easier, I prefer Mint crying "Hammer time!" and imagining her beating the ever loving ♥♥♥♥ out of monsters.

Though, with a spear, now I can imagine her looking at a dead monster and saying, "I think they got... the point."
