How does Shredders feel compared to SSX titles?
I'm an old school SSX franchise player on the Playstation 2. While I really enjoyed SSX and SSX Tricky, SSX3 was where I became on one of the best on the platform and truly enjoyed everything about the game. There's other SSX titles but I didn't get to play any of those. I would love to see another SSX game and this time on PC, but who knows if that will ever happen.

For those who have played SSX 3 or other SSX titles how does Shredders feel compared to those?

SSX Tricky was the best snowboarding game ever. 3 was fantastic, but Tricky just had the perfect arcade vibe for couch VS play.

Nothing like SSX at all. It's more of a spiritual successor to Amped, more on the sim side.

One of the main things I'm curious about is movements and tricks and how they actually feel. I really wish there was a demo so I can find out. I heard really really good things about the game, so I am interested in it. Someone suggested I just buy it and then if I don't like how it feels then just get a refund, and I don't want to go that route, I think it's kinda crappy, especially when it comes to an indie studio.

Hi, as you know we're a small indie studio, making a demo takes time and resources that would have, in the end, reduce the overall quality of the main game.
So we decided just to focus on what matters for now, the real game experience.
If you want to try the game, feel welcome to do it, and if you really dislike it it's your right to ask for a refund, at least you will have tried ;)

The 2 hour refund policy is a joke. There are too many games that take more than 2 hours to get a proper feel for the game; e.g., The Witcher 3 took me more than 10 hours to decide if I liked it or not.

It shouldn't take 10 hours for you to decide if you like it or not. I can play a game for 30 minutes and decide easily.

It's really not that difficult.
