Stuck in Gwen's Office Chapter 2
I purchased the advance release post patch and this issue started then but has continued even after the full game downloaded. I am stuck searching Gwen's office. The dead world works fine but in living world there are 3 items I'm supposed to be able to interact with in the room. Keeping it vague to not show spoilers. But I have NO items to interact with in the living world so I cannot finish searching her office.

I am using windows 11
NVIDIA GEForce GTX 1650 Ti with Max Q design
Intel Iris (R) Xe Graphics
and 11th Gen Intel Core i7 2800

I may not have the newest set up but I meet the minimum. I only paid extra for the game to play it early and I could not finish the two chapters and cannot play it even still. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I've verified files thru steam. It just wont get past that section.

This may be a puzzle issue more than a tech issue! Please try the following steps:

In freeroam walk back to the Fine Arts Building
Make sure you’re in TL
Walk over to Gwen’s office. There will be a police officer standing outside of her office door
This will automatically trigger a cinematic of the police officer escorting Gwen out of her office
Once you’re in freeroam again walk up to Gwen’s Office hotspot and Select: ENTER
This will take you to Gwen's office
Shift to TD. There is a Shift Spot in the center of the office
Select :EXAMINE at the Desk with the computer
Select :READ NOTE on the Book of Essays
In the 3D object inspect, turn the note over and select:READ BACK OF CARD on it before Back-ing out
Exit out of the desk free look
Select:EXAMINE at Gwen’s wall Calendar
Select:SEARCH at the Desk with the Computer again and a cutscene of Max printing out the email will play and you can leave Gen's office after this

I did all that after the cutscene I entered the office. I was in TD first and looked at the book on the non computer desk and it said I was gonna read it someday and read the first line to the book and got that comment response about the first line. Then I looked at the calendar saw the canceled appts and the email. Then I did go into TL and there is NOTHING to click on I the objects all have blueish out lines and are transparent that I need to click on. I can not click on the book to get the notecard, I cannot click on the plants to water the plants, I cannot click on the record player, The items cannot be clicked on to examine or search.

I have tried restarting game, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I have verified all files thru steam to make sure all files were downloaded. I have the most updated version. I tried it before the remainder of the game released to download and before when it just had the first two chapters out. Nothing changes, nothing is available to interact with.

I also looked up a walkthrough for searching the office to make sure it wasn't puzzle related and I did everything I COULD do but the things I'm supposed to do it will not let me because the items are all highlighted in that cyan like color and are transparent like they aren't really there that I am supposed to be able to interact with. I have tried it many many times. sorry for 3 short responses I am working and kept thinking of different things I've tried while waiting for responses from the 3 places I've reached out to for assistance. You were the first to respond.

Also I did try going in and doing the TL items FIRST before the TD to see if it was still not working before I did all the other things. Doesn't matter if I do TD first or TL first the result is the same you can't click on the items you need to search like the book with the notecard in it.

I went in and reset back to last checkpoint and tried it in the order you wrote to do it and still wont let me select anything in the dead world. On top of that I noticed that the objects change from Living to Dead world but the top screen display that I have set to always display timeline never changes and always says living. The objects do change from the 3 essays to the stack of papers and the book being there in dead world with the notecard and the calendar on the wall there in one world not in the other but you still can't select any of those items. It's almost like its not fully loading the change between worlds.

The longer it takes to fix this the more frustrated I am becoming, last two days I was off work and really would've liked to play my game I spent almost $80 on. I am tempted to purchase it on xbox but I don't want to pay for it twice, and my xbox isn't set up right now so I'd have to set that back up if I need to do that.

Any suggestions yet? I am starting a 4 day weekend after tonight and I'd really like to play the game I spent $80 on to play *early* and wasn't able to play early - so I paid for a service I couldn't use and have been waiting weeks for resolution between all the places I posted this question.

I paid a lot of money to play this game early, its been out nearly a month now so many have finished the game and its a challenge to avoid spoilers online and yet I still can't even finish chapter 2 and do not feel like I am getting any acknowledgement from support as messages are very delayed and slow to receive and the only help I've been offered so far is you're failing at puzzles which is not true.

i wish there was an update I've been trying to get this fixed since I tried playing the early release. I am on a 4 day weekend and wanted to play but can't because its taking so long to get a response from tech support.

The game has been out for 2 months now, I purchased the pre-purchase at FULL overprice and you have not bothered to respond to me since Nov 11 on how to resolve this issue. This is not even sub par customer service/technical assistance this is non existant support. When will you be refunding my early purchase since I could not even complete the early release let alone play the game I had marked on my calendar for the past year anticipating this release eagerly THAT I CANNOT PLAY! And....NOONE IS HELPING ME!

time to start leaving reviews on an unplayable game and an unresponsive technical support team. Definitely not worth the $90 I paid that I guess I need to request to be refunded. Such a let down after all the previous games were so good and so much fun to play.

okay, how do I get a refund for this game I pre-purchased EARLY that you all don't seem to support to help the game be playable. worst experience I've ever had with a Life Is Strange game, the other games were amazing, this one is disappointing that I cannot play it. Worst game support of ANY game I've EVER played....and such a let down after waiting months for this to come out that noone will help me with trouble shooting this - and I'm not the only person stuck with this issue. Customer Service Skills are a negative 10 at best and same for your technical team responses.
