Life is Strange: Double Exposure

Hey I was thinking of getting the platinum on the retamster of the first 2 games in this series and the rest but what order should I play the games in release order or is there any more saying that one game takes place before another?

For the most part, release order is chronological order, with the exception of Before the Storm, which is a prequel to Life Is Strange.

There's some debate over whether it's better to play Before the Storm first, though it's definitely better to hold off on playing the bonus episode, Farewell, until after you've played the first game.

There's also some non-chronological presentation within the games - in the first game, Max has time manipulation powers, so things get timey-wimey - and there are flashbacks in other games too, so trying to do things strictly chronologically is definitely impractical - and probably impossible considering there are certain points in the timeline that we visit multiple times.
Also do any of the 7 games on PlayStation (including the remaster of the first and before the storm) are there any game breaking bugs I should know about?
So for a first time player of the games playing it in release order is a bad idea is that what your saying? Or just play 1 and 2 first then the other games right after?

You can go either way with Life Is Strange and Before the Storm. The bonus episode for Before the Storm, "Farewell", should come after both games. Life Is Strange 2, True Colors and Double Exposure all want to come after at least one of Life Is Strange and Before the Storm. Life Is Strange 2 and Double Exposure both want to come after the original Life Is Strange, while True Colors wants to come after Before the Storm, and its DLC, Wavelengths also wants to come after the original Life Is Strange. For those three games, you could play them in pretty much any order - I'm not aware of any cross-overs between any of them - and with publication and chronological order being the same for those three, there's no real reason to play them in any other specific order.
I’m sorry but can you please be more clear I don’t understand what you said
