Constant witty replies, being a "people" person, always smiling. Bisexual, gets easily squeamish and uncomfortable when talking about the past.
Only person that felt like a genuine real person was Gwen, but I don't know what part of her is "transgender". She just looks like a standard Middle Eastern woman.
You sure you don't mix Gwen and Yasmin (Safi's mother) ?
The rest is neutral, but I don't like Amanda
No why would I? Yasmin is more like a concerned shareholder than a parent.
Done. Good week!
Edited cause i put yasmin instead of safi lol..been a while since i finished it hahah yasmin ....eww
Max: Hannah IS Max and this Max is pretty much everything I had always expected her to be. But she's grown up, traumatized and a bit more reserved in her approaches to things NOW than when she was a kid. Duh. Obviously. It's bittersweet to see how she has grown up.
Safi: Initially really "liked" her and feel like she had the potential to be much more of a character, but she's not seen enough and when we do see her she kind of does this 180 transformation which I don't think landed well. Don't think they did her justice.
Moses: Soft spoken great character. One of the few "great" moments in the game involves him (to me) and he's a great companion character. Needed more "flushing out" of his character to make the most out of him.
Amand-uh (smile): Loved her in every way but totally disappointed in how infrequently she is around. Total missed-opportunity with her. One of the great moments in game (for me) involved her. Again, like Safi (but in a different way) they didn't do her justice and could have done so much more with her.
Vinh: he surprised me! I didn't like his vibe for a long time and then I kinda did. He turned me around a bit and any time a character has the power to do that to my thoughts, I think they've done something right. His well practiced charm, lacquered smile and on-demand "wit" hid the total trainwreck he was underneath. I want to know more about him!
Reggie: Don't know why, gave me Warren vibes but of the less potentially hostile variety. As a suicide survivor myself, I *felt* him that ONE time.
Gwen: Missed opportunity. Good character with what I imagine in my head must be a great backstory. But that's just what I am imagining. I want more of her.
Lucas: I *liked* that he's potentially complex. Total asshat that was complicit in the death of a former student, and yet deeply tied to his child. I was never sure HOW to feel about him and ffs if that's not art imitating life, I don't know what is. Deeply flawed person with conflicting needs to be famous/self-important and a good father. As a character, he too is under-developed.
Loretta: she's got a story, somewhere....but we don't really have any idea what it is. Can't say I like or dislike her, just that I felt there needed to be more of her.
Diamond: ok, she annoyed me and maybe it's because of the ending. But I felt her character was awkward (not in a good way), not relatable and never once did I feel the need or desire to know more. It annoyed me that at the ending they made HER a potential character for future games. Out of all people....HER?? *yuk*
Yasmin: meh, I don't know. Kinda one-dimensional? Type-A helicopter parent that ultimately does more harm than good? Too cliche'. No growth at all, either.
As I finish writing this, I see that the overriding theme here seems to be that there are some good characters and all of them a bit under-developed. So much more could have been done with them, but that doesn't diminish that (to me) I *felt* them.
