How do I know if the cat content is running?

Can someone please give me a straight answer without complaining about the DLC or the game? I just started the game today and got to the end of chapter 1 where it told me I needed the DLC for the cat content. So I stayed in the game and went to steam and bought and downloaded and installed the DLC. This has worked in other games by other companies (though they gave a way to buy and download from within the game, if I remember correctly). So I didn't give it too much thought. But then I couldn't tell if the DLC had been purchased and installed because one page of Steam said it's in my library and another said it's my cart...But i figured I'd find out. After bit more playing I thought I'd check again and see if it's installed but now I don't know if I've played too much of Chapter 2 to be able to get the cat stuff. I'd like to start over now if I have to rather than wait till the end of the chapter to find out. But if i don't have to restart, that would be ideal. I just don't know how to know.

When choosing the outfit at the start of chapter 2 you shoukd have three new outfits (white coat, red with hawtdawgman and leopard print/cat outfit). Also before entering the FAB there should be a hedge hissing at you.
