Just beware for the second slider it's IT xwho ruins the performance but also made the game CELEARLY blurry.
I suggest either mix first slider and second or use motion blur for limit it.
The first will be better but more costly
No problem personally with an rtx 3090 FE you can go at 70% in second slider with 100% first slider for definition of the picture (in my case native 4k)
You can also put everything in high (pretty game doesn't scale at all above mediu/high in best case scenario) avoid of course AA if you play in 4k (same for motion blur)
I have an 9900K and judging it's a UE5 game i was surprise it can keep up when you know the need for very high ST performance on THIS engine (same goes for vram)
You guys need to AT LEAST meet the minimum requirements. The people who don’t and are scratching their heads and wondering why really need to do their due diligence before purchasing.
Your CPU/GPU combos — especially if integrated — are not going to run this game well or at all. Many of you are probably running out of vRam right on the title screen once it’s done rendering it.
Anything under 30 FPS is going to feel “laggy,” and if you are over 30 FPS and are “lagging” or your game looks like a slide show, it’s because you hit your vRam wall.
The game looks good, but it does not look good enough to be the very first game that my 2080 TI fails to make playable.
The weird thing is that medium settings didn't even help. The game runs essentially fine for a few minutes, and then for 45 seconds or so it'll be so choppy I can't even control it. Like literally down to 1 frame a second or less, sometimes pausing on a single frame for several seconds before continuing. Literally impossible to control in these states. For 30-45 seconds, I won't even be able to aim the camera because barely touching the controls will cause the camera to jump to one extreme direction or the other, as the game struggles to keep up. In a cutscene, I'll hear 2 or 3 characters finish their lines while the game is stuck one-frame-at-a-time struggling through the very first animation of the first character opening their mouth.
And then it'll resolve and it'll play buttery smooth for a few minutes.
At first I thought it was happening during scene changes, but it can easily happen in a scene that's already loaded. I can spin the camera around myself quite smoothly and jog in circles for a few minutes, and then suddenly hit some kind of wall where the framerate falls to 1-2 FPS (or less). After 30-45 seconds it'll get better and the game will go back to normal.
It's not normal behavior. It's not even just "bad optimization," because sometimes the game plays great.
Something just straight out wrong is happening, somewhere.

You'll still get lower fps though so I recommend still using lossless scaling.
I have a RTX 4070 Super and Ryzen 7 5800XT, game just isn't well optimized at all on pc unfortunately.
The game certainly isn't a stellar performer, and it isn't one of the best-optimized games out there, but I didn't notice any of your issues despite having very similar graphics. To me, it sounds rather like your processor and eventually your SSD are bottlenecking. I played it with default (most were on high) settings; the FPS were jumping up or down sometimes, but no lags like you were describing.
The last time I saw such behavior was when I was testing Lost Records on a 2009 Intel Core i7-860, Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti, and SATA II SSD.
