Error UE-Chronos

Okay, so basically my PC meets all the system requirements, but game is crashing after some playtime, circa about after 20-25 minutes and will crash continously then for few restarts.

The UE-Chronos Game has crashed and will close.

Does anyone else experiance the same issue?

Update: Glad some of the responses worked for you guys. Nothing worked for me, I'm still mailing with Tech Support, if we resolve it somehow I'll update the post :)

Yes, I also restarted my PC and it doesn't help.

It seems as though a lot of people are having this issue so you're not the only once experiencing this

I've been having the same issue- it says something about the game not existing and then crashes.

i fixed it by putting the graphics quality preset to high its something in the settings ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me up im currently at the start of chapter 2 and i kept continuously crashing after "investigating the noise"

after playing around with the settings a bit i managed to narrow it down to the "Global Illumination Quality" setting - keeping it on low/medium made me crash everytime, setting it to high fixed the issue for me, hope this helps

I tried that, but basically mine crashes in every posible graphic combination.
I'm stuck at the scene with owl, everytime Max get up from ground I get crash.

Probably gonna wait for some patch/SquareEnix Tech support response - I reached them through website and they asked for diagnostic files from my PC.

It's kinda frustrating that we pay more to enjoy game earlier and are used as a testers, 4h wasted :(

I kept getting these crashes after 5-10 minutes in the first scene at the bowling alley. Restated my PC and it seems to be working now, been playing around 90 minutes without another crash.

Im having the same issue, I get about 2 mins into the first scene of chapter 1 before it crashes, Ive downloaded it each time of 3 different drives and still same issue.

i keep getting this too after about 2 minutes, and I've tried restarting and changing the graphics but nothing seems to work. Sucks to pay an extra 30 dollars just for it to not work.

to those on amd graphic cards i suggest turning off all of the "Radeon" features inside the Adrenalin software, make sure your drivers are up to date id also try downloading some of the older drivers and last but not least - reinstalling your system, if none of this fixes your issue id honestly just refund the game and buy the standard edition i dont know how it works for advanced access releases but if youre under 2 hours of playtime you should be eligible for a refund

i doubt theyre gonna release a patch fixing this issue before release, good luck

lower grafikcs helps NOT. i can play som Minutes and than crash the Game. with this ♥♥♥♥ i played now over 3 hours and cant refound the game... i will fukn hope that they Patch that ♥♥♥♥ as fast possible. i was sooo hyped and i am a BIIG fan from "LiS" but now i am so Angry.

Following pineys TAAU fix ( here ) fixed the crashes i was experiencing in chapter 2. I'm sure D9 will release hot fixes as time goes on.
