I force enabled FSR upscaling in the game, but it's so CPU bound it doesn't help much. The game needs frame gen added. With FSR 3 upscaling forced on, my 4090 is at 50% use at 4k due to the CPU being bound and rendering around 60-75FPS with lots of lag and stuttering

Deck Nine probably don't know what Frame Gen is, look at the picture of Deck Nine staff lmfao

true. they really aren't that skilled at making games - just look at the LIS1 remaster disaster they did. FSR is also free with no licensing. DLSS Is also free as of 2021. So NO reason to at least not add FSR3+FG and DLSS+FG

it using 20% of my CPU at 1080p

You don't understand what CPU bound means. It doesn't mean the CPU is at 100%. It means that it's not properly utilizing the CPU and there's game threads that are stalling and taking too long to execute.

It often means 1 or 2 or both are happening:

1. A game isn't using enough CPU cores
2. A game is using enough CPU cores but the C# or C++ code is poorly written and not efficient.

The CPU must prepare each frame for the GPU to render.

Clown post. Dropping the slider makes the game look awful. Now stop trolling and go elsewhere.

There is a slider you can effectively change resolution scaling and percentage just like DLSS WOULD DO.....

Nobody can help it your too lazy to go into settings and do some stuff yourself...... console weirdos!!!

To lazy to enter settings menu !

I am playing at 4K and after turning the resolution scale down all the way, the game still looks surprisingly okay. Not sure if it is just the soft look with all the post processing and anti-aliasing or if it is using some kind of upscaling without saying. It really does not help that there is no number associated with the scaling. Real sloppy stuff.

And yes, releasing a UE5 game with out proper DLSS or FSR is actually insane. It is THE engine that relies on it for all its RTGI and other fancy effects

Reading the first comment it's clear to me Deck Nine doesn't know how to build games. Their last few remasters were full of Chromatic Aberration that couldn't even be removed.
