No Chloe = Not what i wanted

I dont think i'm the first to say this but i cant see any others,

My opinion and passion to play the game immediately changed when the options where either Chloe died or you broke up - First of all completely disregards life is strange 2 Chloe and max cameo and just moves on from the events of the past, This sh*t to me is retconned and the comics in my mind are cannon much better ending for them.

Just a cheap money grab from the new devs - DONT BUY if your an actual fan just enjoy what we already had and go for the Devs new game Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.

People really need to understand how writing works and just not cry about it when their favorite character dies or gets distant from the general story lol. Enjoy the game as it is, dude. After all, the game focuses on entirely different things, we can't have Chloe all over again.

As someone who chose the bae ending more times than the bay ending, It's quite obvious that Max and Chloe just would not last after destroying an entire town including Chloe's mom, Max's friends, KATE?! (Is she even alive in Bay ending?) And even then, they were STILL together for 10 years. And they may even make up in the future. You also have your head canon!

Kate and Warren are only mentioned (very) briefly in a nightmare sequence for what I assume are text messages from shortly after the game 1 ending(?) For Warren she basically said she stopped responding to his texts (in a way that hints she was annoyed by him) and for Kate she mentions she deserved better friends than herself. but I assume for all her friends she basically just ghosted them

What ending do u get this nightmare sequence, because I was kind of curious about both. Since Kate was a friend, and Warren was a friend too and could actually be a love interest (In at least one playthrough, he was a love interest for Max for me).

Kind of makes me sad, if she just ended up annoyed by him. I am hoping post at least one of the endings (like the Bay one), they are at better terms or at least ended on better terms. Same with Max and Kate. Which, while Max had nicer reasons to stop talking to her, thinking she deserved better. It is still kind of sad Max ghosted her, possibly. But I can understand why Max did, considering her headstate. And REALLY needing therapy after the events of LIS, with either ending honestly (though she would need a lot more therapy after the Bae ending probably).

I love Chloe, and it is kind of sad that Max and Chloe seemingly broke up in the post-ending where Chloe is alive (but hey, at least Chloe is still alive, they could have killed her. And in a lot of people died in the ending where she lives in the 1st place too), and would have been cool if Chloe was more apart of this game, or this was a choice/option specifically in this game to be and/or stay with her, but it is getting a bit annoying seeing people not even give this game a chance for mainly this choice. And some of the other complaints I have seen about this game, mainly seem like nitpicks, or their complaints aren't even all that well explained.

I am not saying there aren't any complaints to have about this game, including the Chloe thing, but it also seems that people are also going out of this there way to find things to complain about or to not give this game a chance. And it is a tad annoying. Just a bit.

Saying that, I get if u don't like some of the choices that have been made. If u want, u can just keep the LIS 1 ending as ur ending, or the comic(s) ending(s), or even the LIS 2 ending(s), because I think there was LIS 1 cameos and/or etc. in that, and/or etc., if u don't like what this game does.

Or even hc Max and Chloe get back together. They were together a long time, them getting back together wouldn't be a impossible thing to happen.

Though, if they did get back together, I hope both are in better mental states when they do. They both really need therapy/need more therapy if they have already gotten it. After everything that happened. And through the events this new game, Max almost certainly needs (more) therapy.

I only played Lis1, BtS and Lis2 and I thought BtS was really not good and LiS2 was alright. To me personally only the very first game is canon and anything beyond that is just fan fiction lol. DontNod making a new story with the second game was the right decision overall. Games like these don't need sequels.

Well there were two romance endings to LiS. Chloe or Warren. Im guessing they didn't want to say no to either choice so it was probably better to just break her up with anyone she was with when she moved away.

Trust me Warren wasn't even a worry for D9. He is pretty much dismissed in 1 sentence in DE very briefly.
