Always crash in Chapter 2: Fatal Error

In the bar in Chapter 2, when trying to switch the timeline at the entrance out the toilet, it fails. Every time I switch, it throws a Fatal Error and then exits the game. This happens on both my laptop3050ti and Steam Deck, so I'm unable to continue the game

I changed graphics settings to high and it works

In accesibility settings, turn on simple power effects. It should work then.

what？？？I was wondering why the lesbian element was so boring at the beginning, but it became interesting when the detective story started.

I know this has already been answered however if you do not wish to enable that setting you can use this https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3349299538 it fixes the chapter 2 crash and also improves frames somewhat all while not having the dark screen when switching realities.
