I thoroughly enjoyed LiS 1 and LiS before the storm and both their remasters.

Is it worth to buy this game now or should I wait for sale?

No, this game is abuse of old good LIS1 by its content, and less interesting gameplay as old good game.

It doesn't hold a candle to any of the other LIS games, especially with the steep price tag. It felt shorter, less polished and the story is honestly not very good. If you loved the previous LIS games, it's almost a sure shot you'll feel disappointed by this one.

Yep, lots of features, presented in promo/teaser, were in game just once only in the one scene what was shown, so promo was highly deceptively

From other side, you should not invest in "bad style" of story creation, or else there will be more content with this "bad style" if it succeed in sales.

If you ask me, the best possible option is to simply watch a commentary free playthrough online and judge for yourself.

I enjoyed both LiS 1 and Before the Storm. However, the game has a few caveats that have prevented me from buying it right now, namely:

- highest priced LiS game on launch ($80 is insane for a game that has its physical Collector's Edition completely separate from the so called "Ultimate Edition")
- presence of Denuvo
- shockingly steep system requirements for playing higher than 1080p
- poor optimization, and no DLSS options available at launch
- no patch at the time of this post that has resolved the bugs, proved better optimization, and removed Denuvo

Play LIS2... But this one is not worth 59$. 10h of gameplay... few choices that matters... They tried to replucate some moments from LIS1 but kinda failed. The characters are not good. I don't care about Chloe btw. But there was a murder mystery, a whole traffic of girls... In the LIS2 you have to helps brothers escape and your choices truely impact your little brother. But in this one, you dont really matter and the plot is a bit... meh. Not that impressive and kinda messy
