Yep, lots of features, presented in promo/teaser, were in game just once only in the one scene what was shown, so promo was highly deceptively
You should play Life is strange 2, it's excellent.
That being said, though....
I enjoyed both LiS 1 and Before the Storm. However, the game has a few caveats that have prevented me from buying it right now, namely:
- highest priced LiS game on launch ($80 is insane for a game that has its physical Collector's Edition completely separate from the so called "Ultimate Edition")
- presence of Denuvo
- shockingly steep system requirements for playing higher than 1080p
- poor optimization, and no DLSS options available at launch
- no patch at the time of this post that has resolved the bugs, proved better optimization, and removed Denuvo
The standard game, depends on how much you want to play it.
