How well did Square Enix market this game.

So story time, I used to hate this franchise (Mainly True Colors) Because Square Enix promoted True Colors more than A game called NEO: The World Ends With You. I stopped hating the franchise when I played the first game when I was going through a NASTY falling out with a close friend and wanted to enforce OOC is Serious Buisness (I'm an avid Troper)

But come this year, a new entry in this franchise, however unlike True Colors, I haven't seen a lot of marketing (I mean a few ads on YouTube, but not much else). Plus I noticed that only 70% of fans like this one, while the other games are either very or in the first game's case, overwhelmingly positive.

But I don't really see people talk about it. So does this mean that Square Enix not promote it as well? Or was it marketed well and I just didn't notice?

Me on the other hand, I was interested, but it wasn't a high priority purchase for me.

It seems that they have gained more money with all this scam with ultimate edition, fake advertizing, intentionally presentng features better then they actually are in the game. But this could effect their next sales of continuation. Do not forget that "success" of LIS DE is merely based of success of LIS1. They have monetized it well, but this may not work the next time, and it is good so.
