They developed True Colours...
Similar in what way? the plot? really? in Tell Me Why they are Twins and the plot revolved around knowing what happened between them and their mom.
This is more like "True Colors" style wise with a Marvel twist (multiverse) and a bit of Life is Strange 1 (friend dies, try to figure out a way to save them) same ♥♥♥♥, nothing new.
Edit: Also, different powers? no more rewind? now it's a time shift? idk and idc
I mean like, you're choosing evidence by the sounds of it, between two choices. You're seeing instead of memories, the timeline, and the art styles are very similar especially the playermodels. Murder mystery stuff. The powers themselves look like they might be used in very similar ways.
use ":)" not ")))" so the world won't know that you are you are rus ki
And True Colors failed to deliver a experience that would be remembered.
Truthfully, I lost all interest in Life is Strange after True Colors and I had moved on.
This has a chance to be a turn around. I just fear it'll be lackluster and not deliver.
LiS 2 is a bit more memorable tho but True colors is just meh.
And this game sounds like it too.
DONTNOD: Life is Strange, Tell me Why,Captain Spirit, Life is Strange 2,
DECK NINE : Life is Strange: Before the Storm, Life is Strange: True Colors, Life is Strange: Double Exposure
Besides, LiS 1 is DontNod's creation.
While Deck Nine did a good enough game with LiS TC, DontNod games in LiS series are way better.
I'm not hyped about this game.
If it gets good reviews I'll perhaps buy it when it's on a good sale later on....
Btw, about DontNod
A new game is coming from them, "Lost Records: Bloom & Rage"
Looks interesting :)
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1902960/Lost_Records_Bloom__Rage/
ironically Lost Records is likely releasing around the same time so the new Life Is Strange may be competing against its creator.
You left out Twin Mirror.
To an extent they never had them Square owning the IP was part of the publishing deal.
It feels like some games DontNod makes goes under the radar for some.
Harmony: The fall of Reverie, while not the same gameplay as LiS games, is still a great story game with many different endings.
