They basically tried to put micro transactions into a SINGLE PLAYER game. At least the ultimate edition here comes with more outfits and other content as DLC. Even then, it'd be more worth it if it included a bonus chapter or small story.
But I really hope Double Exposure will be better than True Color and worth it's price because even if I liked True Color (at least for me) def don't worth more than 25/30€ at full price, I find that previous LIS were way better :/
And mind you, I don't even hold high expectations for this game, and this sentiment is coming from someone who is a fan of Life is Strange.
I doubt this game is gonna get even get discounted that much
Perhaps this one is radically different, but I doubt that. If I get it I'll be looking at discounts with other retailers like GMG etc.
True Colours in terms of released LIS games has been the most expensive game and also the shortest. I wouldn't entirely hold out hope this is going to be considerably longer.
