Honestly theyve kinda missed the mark heavily with this one. The whole point of LIS 1 was that having 2 ambiguous endings where there is no definitive answer on which is canon, which does make both endings pretty valid. Also why even remove max's ability to rewind time? How does that even make sense? If it was all new original characters then its a different story, but i feel theyre hopping on these iconic character just to save their dying studio (their reputation already ended after the nazi stuff came out)
Safi just feels like a chloe replacement, she will probably be in it too in a "parallel universe" but its just pure fan service at this point, and deck nine trying to canonise what another studio dont nod did it just egregious, before the storm was okay because it was a prequel and true colours had a new protag with steph returning (already in BTS) but now going to max is just not sitting right with me

I think Arcadia Bay saved sadly. My Canon is Chloe is *ALIVE*, most of People could saved (sadly no good Ending if u played game Chloe/ Arcadia Saving & Chloe rescue all Friends from Accidents & bad Ending all Died before Arcadia Destroyed= 3rd Happy Ending, Arcadia destroyed, Chloe & all Friends rescued & only minimal Victims by Arcadia Destruction. U can always replace Things but never Life as Chloe Memories let Rachel life still on as this Doe Spirit (Photo Graveyard) further. Really hope Max & Chloe make a Telephon or Video Call & get Arcadia Bay destroyed Time Line or a Choose on Start like LiS2.

They'll prbobably just asked us at the start of the game what we did and change some dialogues depending on it like they did in Life is Strange 2

I hope she's dead is the canon because it's the logical choice though.
