yeah, different style than CS for sure. i didn't like CS though and just started with CS:S.
ET/RTCW was definitely faster-paced.

ET/RTCW is based on quake's engine. That's why this game is faster. Which makes it better than slow CS. Btw old times are never back. Some time ago i play on this legacy mod. There is a mutual adoration circle on the official Discord server, not a community like it used to be. Well, if someone would like to play skilled games, I recommend legacy mix on Discord.
