Why can't I see any server?

I saw a lots of pictures of crowned servers in this hub but when I run the game, I saw nothing..... like nobody is playing. Is it something about the ET legacy thing? Or because of my region? Please help!

Are you using ET Legacy or normal Steam version?

Also check that your network isnt blocking the connections (i think ET uses port 27890* or similar).

From the ingame main menu, there is server browser, don't select any filters and hit refresh button a few times.

Let it refresh and populate the list... there should be global list and I can my region (low ping) then others like EU, NA and Asia.

edit: Then when you see nice server, click on it, and check server info - scroll all way down and check it has real ppl not [BOTS]name. If all is good, click Join and enjoy :)

No you do not need ET Legacy. The default free Steam version works great, and the population is growing very quick as more people find it, read news etc

In the server browser screen, make sure no filter (checkboxes) are ticked, and click refresh list. Give it few seconds to make the list.

Else, maybe give screenshot so we can see why nothing is showing.

Sometimes the master server doesn't "reply" too, might come back a few moments later

I don't know why but I tried screenshoting it but I can't paste it, and when I can, the picture is all gray, which is really weird. And yes I turn off all filters but still no respond. Maybe I just need to wait longer

Oh, what region are you in, i think some country cannot play yet - maybe germany? any others?

I'm in Vietnam, maybe that count as Asia, yeah maybe you're right. Anyway I found a way to screenshot it, but I can't seem to be able to paste it here, at least not by pressing Ctrl+V, can you show me how? (sorry I'm new to this community hub thing)

OK, with help from >M@tEo$< other post:

1. Main menu -> Play Online
2. Near all the boxes for Filters, there is "SOURCE" words
3. Click SOURCE words until it says "Internet" (it will cycle through LOCAL, FAVORITES, INTERNET).
4. Click refresh and you should now get the list.

5. Click on a server (from VN your ping might be ok to SGP, or bit high for EU/NA)
6. Click Join Server

7. It will show loading screen and likely you have to wait while it automatically downloads patches/mods

8. When in a server, you will be SPECTATOR mode
9. Press "L" (means Limbo) and you can then pick your team (USA vs AXIS) and class (Assault, Medic, sniper, engineer and field ops**)
10. Press Deploy and you should be able to start moving and shooting.

11. When you die, you can Click "L" to change teams or class
12. When you die, press SPACEBAR to respawn (after 10sec timer).
