I can't enable punkbuster

I want to play vanilla game on steam, i can't join any server because it says that punkbuster is not enabled, but when i try to enable it it just don't work...
Pls help

I had the same problem : someone answer me with : They can't re-release the game with PB because it's a proprietary software
So you'll have to use a 2.60b EXE file to keep playing ETPro through Steam...
I didnt try for the moment , but it must be work :)

You can grab the original standalone 2.60b through the official developer page: https://www.splashdamage.com/games/wolfenstein-enemy-territory/

Then taking the ET.exe and pb folder

Yes , just tried , with only the 2.60b.exe original pasted in steam ET folder , no work , then 1.download client ET 2.60b on web , 2.instal , 3.copy/paste 2.60b.exe ( original , no steam ) and Pb folder and paste in ET steam folder , works .
