You can also return some of the relics and use a couple notes from someone you find easy to get EMF, temps and pics off of and then majority of notes for polter. You can use other ghosts to boost the activity of the one you want. You'd have to take them back and then reload the map. The only thing you'd have to do again is re-release them.
I never release anyone until I've got all the evidence and then I spend a little time releasing everyone individually for the 1 time bonus but I then only have to do the release I don't necessarily need anymore evidence so rituals go quickly. It may seem like it's a lot, but it's so much easier to get evidence if everyone is still in the house when you are looking for any evidence off of others. In the case of evergreen, I'd probably take back the garage ghost and leave him available until you've gotten all the polter info. Garage is easy to track only need 1-2 of his, can use four of related to polter.
For notes I usually take 3-4 notes on the one I want and 1-3 notes on my easy ghost.
Good deal. Glad you got it sorted.
