SOVL
the game gives hidden bias towards the ai on rolls or something
the rng in campaigns is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, i have never rolled as garbage anywhere in my life as i do consistently in this game, its as if half my dice are loaded to roll ones

the ai win every single combat unless i manage to get a flank or rear charge to add one or two extra wounds to swing it back in my favor

keep picking more attack upgrades for my units because i like seeing them miss more with this terrible dice roll algorithm

fresh run shoot a cannon at wolf riders, 2 6s
shoot the unit of goblins with xbow right after 5 out of 6 saves on a 4+

an actual ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke of fake challenge, just give the ai fake difficulty by making the dice never work for the player the same way it does for the ai
Random means that you are unlucky as well. So that is part of the game, there is no bias making AI stronger.

The dice seem loaded to me as well, but the AI isn't smart enough so its not so bad.

Do not mention when you flank the block of goblins spearmen and the doubble ones when you win. Really looking forward to that massssive spear wall.

Normally I would say it is just up to randomness, but after watching the AI make 20 3+ saves without a single fail, I'm starting to think the randomness might be off by a bit.

dice in a game? better believe people with confirmation bias complaining about "The AI cheats and I only get bad rolls!"

Yeah... folk tend to only remember the bad runs of luck, and forget when it goes in their favor.

I'm not convinced the dice are rigged, these kinds of results happen all time if you play warhammer, -but- I am convinced to your point that they feel rigged. It might actually speak to a need to make the dice less actually random, and more perceived random (actually rig the dice to be more even - if you roll a 1 or 6, make the next dice less likely be another 1 or 6).

The chance you get an even or solid distribution of dice rolls is pretty low, a roll with a lot of highs or lows is super common, but feels super uncommon.

I had lucky turns where I've taken zero casualties on many 5+ saves. Then I had crap turns where I missed 2+ saves and hits. It's SOVL baby!

That's just how Dice do

having played actual tabletop games in person, sometimes the Dice just ♥♥♥♥ you

I had my entire army fail to roll above a 4 the entire game, and was wiped by turn 3, but my Lord them didn't roll below a 3 and solo'd the rest of the army.

Dice be weird.

You notice the times it ♥♥♥♥♥ you a LOT more than the times you ♥♥♥♥ it

People keep insisting the rng is either fair or biased. Honestly it feels biased but if the game wanted to put it to bed? Have end of match roll reports. So we can see exactly what happened and by how much. It would solve all questions with enough games I think.

its just a normal d6 pool game. bigger d6 pool wins and if u get rerolls its even better for you. cant see the difference from original tabletop.

There is nothing wrong with the die rolls, You are just unlucky.

That be great - cus' it feels biased lol. Too many cases of AI succeeding on 5 up rolls and me failing 3 up rolls. It's making me damn paranoid =p
