More stages to the campaign
So just like the title says, any chance of adding more stages to the campaign. Right now it feels like it ends just when things are getting really fun. If not endless it would be fun to at least have another couple stages to go through.

Hopefully Act III someday.

I like the idea behind the campaign and all but honestly I would LOVE to see a full map based campaign. Moving full armies around and having multiple battles. I have a friend that we are doing one on our own as the battle don't take long (nor would Fantasy Battles stream lined like this) so can get in a number of turns in a couple of hours easily,.

Yeah, I agree a longer campaign would be fun. For me it's more time to play with higher level units also give something more to strive for

+1 act 3 or endless would be amazing

+1 for endless, another thing I would love to see is the ability to replay the campaign on harder difficulties and keep parts of your warband on the next run.

+ 1 ENDLESS, and additional and more meaningful end of act battle rewards

I have literally just got to Act 3. I got to the stage 2 boss fight on difficulty 7 and it didn't end afterwards - there's a shorter act 3 where all battles are elite.

I'd also be really into a more fleshed out roguelike mode, potentially with extra acts. It's always a small shame to complete a campaign at the end and, while satisfying, just wish I could've had a bigger army or there was something else to do afterwards (sometimes it's tough and sometimes you steamroll!).

I'd also be super keen for a campaign style map, even if it wasn't super in depth. As I was reading the replies I couldn't help but be reminded of Brigandine. It's a Japanese "grand strategy" experience that I feel could be applied to this games gameplay without making it a Total War-but-Sovl kind of deal.

Each map has cities and each "nation" starts in certain areas. The game has 3 phases; while I can't recall each phases name it's effectively Preparation, Attack and Battle. In preparation, you can level, "quest" (random events to get items and such you don't interact with other than sending people on them), hire or attempt to acquire heroes and so on. This game doesn't need all of that but think of it as the kind of "level up" or army management aspect Sovl already has but with multiple armies.
The second phase is when you declare which armies might be attacking where. Each city is a node connected to other nodes on the map. You can only attack an adjacent node, though sometimes these nodes have 2 or 3 adjacent nodes and become key chokeholds. The strategy surrounds moving armies to defend lines and manoeuvring them to attack certain nodes. In practice, this requires careful management as you need to know when to attack and defend. Further, not to bring up the other property, but certain races are going to defend or attack better in this game naturally on a style of map like this; Dwarves may have few territories but can defend them while... ahem, Ratkin are just going to want to expand fast. Newer armies are kept on the backlines until you can move them forward.
The third is battles which, well, is what this game does. Win the battle and capture the node, akin to Risk but with little fantasy guys.

Like the tabletop aspect of this game, I think Brigandine represents the kind of complexity with accessibility this game does so well. A campaign map that functions like that (build an army, attack nodes, move your boys around) would function really well here I think. I'd really love to see it myself but it'd give so much more context and flavour to the game, and if a random map could be implemented would be something I could see myself playing to a silly degree. I poured countless hours into the second Brigandine game on Switch for instance!

I understand it may not be able to be implemented into the game because of engine or logistical things but it'd be a lot of fun and give some real longevity to the game with that little bit of flavour. Think about how CK2 players talk about their games. Imagine stories about how X beat up Y and you slipped in the back to take advantage of their forward push only the have it all cleaned up by Z. Battle reports with stories. :)
