Help with B8F

Hey folks.

Got really stuck on Floor B8F so I looked up some of the old maps to see what I might be missing. There's apparently two shortcuts through the walls in the wyvern's room but when I look at them there's no prompts at all. Any idea why this is? Not sure how else to progress on this floor.

I've not got any Radha missions. Only things I've got atm are pub quests for the dying kid who wants to see an lv30 protector and to survive 5 days on B8F without leaving.

I thought it might be that 2nd thing that is causing it, but I still get a prompt for one of the "must be opened from the other side" shortcuts just west of the waterfall room, so I've got no idea why the critical ones are completely not showing up.

Short answer:

My guess is that you just haven't visited the Radha for a while and need to get the mission you will have to complete. It should be available once you've reached B7F, and you're down to B8F.



Long answer with more information than you might want:

Have you unblocked the spring, as prompted by a conversation with Ren and Tlachtga? (That might actually be optional, but you should do it regardless. You'll want it for the 5 days quest, if nothing else.) If so, the next thing for you to do is to complete a main mission to retrieve the Wyvern's egg. Supposedly that mission becomes available with the Radha once you've reached B7F. I am pretty sure that you need to complete it before you'll get prompts to pass through the shortcuts in the Wyvern's nest as you're sneaking around it. You'll be explicitly told in the story about those shortcuts and to use them as your path forward to keep progressing; until that happens, you can't use them even if you know about them from looking up maps.

I'd unblocked the spring, yes. I doubt the 5-days mission would be tolerable without it. But I've not had a Radha mission for the egg, so I'll check in and see if that gets me anywhere.

Just received the egg quest, so hopefully that leads to the progress. cheers!
