Remembrance of a Friend; something that brings good luck

I have the tiny petal but I have no idea what the good luck charm could be. It seems this quest is different from the origianl where you speak to the townspeople to get items. I tried the Hexroot item 'pure root' which is said to bring good luck but it didn't work. Any ideas?

nice, very nice. What am I supposed to do with this stuff? I cannot figure it out. Maybe I shouldn't have clicked off so fast when I got the luck staff.

right, i found a guide that says. You go to D1 in B1F and in the top right corner you'll get a prompt
