Protector skills?

Hey it is my first dungeon clrawer game
I am wondering my protector is already having defender and my medic has immunize.
Is there really any point to get fortify? I am a newcomer not sure how the late game works but looks like fortify only increase defence?
I wonder why should I put, for example 5 points on fortify but not provoke? It seems it is better to get a better chance to let enemy hit my protector rather than my Landskecht? and level 5 provoke also gives a bit defence up so why fortify?

I never used Fortify. However I have 5 points just to unlock Smite which is pretty nice dmg skill for Protector when he does not need to use Defender for 4-5 turns (or anti-element).

Ah the fortify is just a trash skill no one use but is needed for smite to get some damages

I also wonder about the apollo, does the boost apply dmg up when I use apollo or I wait unit turn 3 to boost it and also use multi shot so I get insane dmg on turn 3?

Sorry for late answer. If you want boost Apollon then do so when you use it. It sure seems be boosted then, not later.

Apollon + Multihit. Always.

By the way while Rangers are A+/S Class in Eo1 the got nerfed to F Tier in E02.
So if you bought E02 stay away from the Ranger.

of course my first Playtrough on the DS was Samu,Warlock,Samu,Medic,Gunner. so if you really want to, go with a Bow User xD.

PS : Gunners suck as well xD

Now that i think off i never ever used the same Class twice in any EO after.

I bought the collection so I will play EO2 and EO3 after I am done with EO
