Annam rice is are a kind of a rice which is often referred to as "Jasmine rice", which is often used in Indian/Thai cuisine, such as their curry. This kind of rice less suitable for sushi because, unlike Japonica rice, they are much less sticky, and thus cannot stay in a shape of a sushi.
