Shark Head

I understand why we can't farm weapon upgrade parts via the fish farm, but since Whitetip Shark Head is a FOOD item and not an upgrade, why do we not receive them from sharks raised in the farm (I've only ever gotten shark meat from sending them to the bar)?

I believe it's the same for the more valuable parts of tuna - you only get akami from tuna in the fish farm.

I get what you're saying but that recipe becomes outdated pretty quickly. Unless you're trying to Max Enhance every food dish...I don't really see too much of an issue.

The tuna thing though doesn't seem right...

Yes. It takes 216 of something to max a recipe. That’s a lot of hunting of sharks since at best you can get 4 a day (I’ve see two on night dives rarely).

For most dishes the bottleneck is veggies or seasonings, both of which are far easier to acquire than the heads.

As for the tuna, I also think that should be gotten from the farm but since they spawn in groups you can hunt, it’s less tedious than the shark heads.
