Eggs need a massive boost

I have 15 chickens, i got 7 regular eggs and 1 grade a egg today.

Those are some TERRIBLE numbers. I don't know how you are supposed to both make a dish using eggs and also be able to enhance it when production is so low.

You can also buy 3 normal and 3 perfect eggs from the vendor every day

I don't think I have as many chickens as you, but I do think I have gotten unlucky with the egg rate as well. I (believe) I have max of the best chicken species possible, alongside some of the other species (but not max), and a couple of times I think I have only gotten 3 eggs.

You can get 5 of each type and even then that still too little.

You know the surface farm is not well designed when my deep fish tempura is my best selling dish and I got maxed out way easier than the other combo dishes that involves the surface farm. I make 30 kelp in the underwater farm and I get 6 per dive for 12 total per day.

The farming is by far the slowest part of the game. If I want to play the game and enhance my dishes further, I don't even dive anymore, in a game called, Dave the Diver. If I want to be efficient, I'm literally just waiting for crops to grow. Checking the fish farm every morning and teleporting down to the sea people farm every 2 days.

Otto needs a larger stock of all the produce, If I could buy 30 a day from him instead of 3, I would.

I have had access to eggs for a while now, but whenever I see a dish that contains eggs my first thought is "I will never serve this dish".

Basically because I can't level the dish quickly enough for it to be relevant.

I couldn't agree more. The amount of eggs you get each day is laughable compared to the numbers of recipes that use eggs and the amount of eggs you need to max their level.
I thought i would max the sharkhead dish last but after unlocking all recipes that require egg i've change my mind. A boost would be very welcome.

What's the point with being able to Name the chickens? I thought maybe like if there was special names Maybe they would lay more eggs. But I can't figure anything out with the naming part.

I don't think the name does anything, but I named them anyhow.
