Any tips for the Dev Killer Achievement?
I call BS on this one. Every single time there is 1 or 2 left, I cant use the zoom out at the beggining of the credits to reference since it doesn show the full devs and the maps warps arround so no sense of guidence. Anyone has any tips to how complete it? Its turning really frustrating for what it is, just a minigame :(

Hah, that has been my experience as well. I always seem to only have 1 or 2 left...

The screen repeats itself, as in if you go off the top of the map you come in at the bottom. So with that in mind, my advice is to move upward blasting all the dev names, ignore all the alien creatures, you don't want to waste time with them.

Then as your swimming up, you'll quickly identify when no more names are appearing, at which point, move about a screens length to the right and repeat this process, swimming up, blasting names, and then moving to the next column when it looks like no more names are visible.

The idea being you want to spend as little time searching or in the same areas you've already been. So you'll want to devise a way of systematically sweeping the map. The above method is one such way.

While it looks like all the names exist at the starting zoom in; in reality the names don't actually exist until you travel and they spawn in.

The easiest way is to travel straight down, and kill every name you see. Traveling down makes it easier to shoot left or right without having to travel extra distance, or to position yourself between two names.

NOTE!!! Once a name does spawn in however, it is there permanently and won't spawn in again. Meaning you would have to go back which usually means running out of time.

You dont really need to go back. the scene repeats over and over, so when you keep traveling in one direction and go out of the zone to the bottom you come back out at the top and the names appear again.

Just in case anyone is still having trouble with this.

DO NOT TREAT THE GUN LIKE A HARPOON. You can press and hold the fire button to shoot like 5+ quick consecutive shots. Basically every time you aim, you should kill a dev in one burst.

OK, I was struggling with this one, kept getting down to 2-3 as well. It wasn't until I read @MellowNectar's post that I found out it works like an auto shooting gun vs a harpoon *HEAD DESK*
